Flare of Faith was born out of a calling to encourage believers to remain steadfast in their faith and to serve Jesus Christ wholeheartedly with the gifts and talents He has given them.

Three years before the brand was launched, Monique, who is a single-mother of four and Evangelist, sensed the Lord placing a clear message on her heart — a call to encourage people not to abandon their faith in any season of life. Whether in seasons of hardship or seasons of prosperity and blessing, believers are called to remain steadfast and faithful to Christ.

It is often in difficult seasons that faith is tested. Yet it is also in seasons of comfort and abundance that people can begin to believe they no longer need God. The heart behind Flare of Faith is a call to remain faithful to Christ in every season and to live out the calling He has placed on our lives.

The Meaning of Steadfast Faith

At the heart of the brand is the biblical concept of ὑπομονή (hypomonē) — a Greek word used 31 times in the New Testament that describes steadfast endurance.

Hypomonē is the kind of faith that remains faithful through trials, pressure, and hardship. It is the endurance that refuses to walk away from Christ and continues to trust in Him regardless of circumstance.

Scripture reminds us of this truth in Romans 5:3–4 (CSB):

“And not only that, but we also boast in our afflictions, because we know that affliction produces endurance, endurance produces proven character, and proven character produces hope.”

Fan Into Flame

The name Flare of Faith is inspired by the words of the Apostle Paul in 2 Timothy 1:6:

“Fan into flame the gift of God.”

Every follower of Christ has been given gifts, talents, and a calling from the Lord. These gifts are not meant to remain dormant — they are meant to be stirred, strengthened, and used to serve the Kingdom of God.

Flare of Faith exists to encourage believers not only to remain steadfast in their faith, but also to actively use the gifts God has placed within them to serve Christ and advance His Kingdom.

The Foundation

While the two pillars of Flare of Faith are steadfast faith and serving Christ through the gifts He has given, the foundation that strengthens both is the Word of God.

Growing in biblical literacy and engaging with Scripture equips believers to remain steadfast in their faith.

The Word of God strengthens our faith, shapes our character, and guides us in how we live and serve the Lord.

Designed With Intention

Flare of Faith is not simply an apparel brand. Each design begins with intentional thought about the biblical truth it is meant to communicate.

Every hoodie and t-shirt begins as a hand sketch created by our creative director, Elle. Each design is thoughtfully developed not only for its visual style, but for the biblical message it carries.

We do not rely on stock graphics or clip art. Every piece is custom-designed with the hope that what you wear becomes a reminder of God’s truth and a way to spark conversations that point people back to Christ.

More Than Apparel

Our apparel is meant to serve as an entry point — a way to invite people into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and to encourage believers to live out the calling God has placed on their lives.

Through teaching and encouragement, our hope is to strengthen believers in their walk with Christ and to lovingly invite those who are searching for truth to encounter the hope of the gospel.

Our Prayer

Our prayer is simple:

That everyone who encounters Flare of Faith would be encouraged to remain steadfast in their faith and to serve Jesus Christ wholeheartedly by stirring up the gifts and talents He has placed within them to advance the Kingdom of God.

And as they grow deeper in the Word of God, they would be strengthened and equipped to walk that path — remaining steadfast in their faith and faithfully serving Christ with the gifts He has given them.
